ActivZone’s September Newsletter 2017

WOW! What fabulous weather did we have on Bank Holiday Weekend? Probably the best I can remember for quite some time!

But here we are, September already & an Indian summer is predicted… Anything is better than the so-called British one we’re supposed to have had the last few months, But I won’t hold my breath!

So, September, what does ActivZone have in store for you….

INCREASE IN CARPARK CHARGES

Sadly, some of you have already been victim to the colleges carpark ticket attendant ☹

& unfortunately, the external company have upped their parking fines amount from £60 to £100!!!

So please, please, PLEASE remember to ALWAYS sign your registration IMMEDIATELY & CLEARLY into our sign-in sheets at reception to avoid any tickets being issued to you whilst you are using ActivZone.

As stated before, ActivZone have no authority to overrule any fines issued therefore we strongly encourage you to sign in on every visit.

CLASS TIMETABLE RESUMES FULL OPERATION

Back to school/college means GREAT news for your class timetable (and your hairs, if like me, towards the end, you’ve been ‘pulling it out’), as we have full access to the college dance studio again! 😊

ZUMBA returns inside on a Tuesday @ 18:30pm with Sarah & YOGA returns back to Wednesdays @ 18:30pm with Sara!

Ohh I do love having a bit of routine back again!

We thank-you for all your patience and understanding during times of staff holiday & college closures as we know how important a regular exercise regime is & just how disruptive change can potentially be.

CHANGING ROOM UPGRADES

You may have noticed the exciting changes starting to take place within your changing facilities & we’re not stopping there!

So far, major changes have been made to your showers. With brand new heads, pipes, power switches & new pressure pumps installed to make your showering experience more reliable.

These are just the start of the improvements we are doing for you.

Please bear with us whilst the works are underway as we hope to make the improvements as less disruptive as possible.

As always, your feedback is so important to us. So please do let us know if we’ve not got something quite right & we’ll do are upmost to get it sorted!

GYM 4A TIN

We know, from past experience, just how generous you guys are when it comes to donations. So, we’ve come up with a great idea to give something back to you as we, the ActivZone family, give to the North Guildford Food Bank.

Simply bring in a friend who is not (yet!) a member & a ‘Tin’ (any non-perishable food items, toiletries, baby products etc..) & in return, they gym for FREE!

Of course, you can donate as much or as little as you like without bringing any friends in… we just thought it’d be a great way for us to meet new people, introduce new faces to your Gym & give back to the people of Guildford who are in need at the same time.
